Leading Health and Safety training provider, Complete Training Solutions (CTS), have achieved the ‘Silver Award’ under the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme.
The Scheme encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same, it encompasses three awards: bronze, silver, and gold. Each award is available to employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
In 2021, CTS signed the Armed Forces Covenant and pledged to acknowledge that the brave individuals who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives.
Soon after signing the covenant, CTS were awarded the ‘Bronze Award’ for making huge strides to support individuals who have served in the armed forces. CTS continued to develop bespoke offers that would support veterans to secure great jobs and reintegrate into society.
Head of Renewables at CTS, Danielle Kershaw, said:
“Supporting the Armed Forces is something me and my team are committed to, and we will continue to do everything we can to help ex-servicemen and women retrain and support them with their re-settlement. Over the last few years, we had made huge strides to improve the level of support available to veterans.
“To give something back, we offer veterans a variety of special offers, discounts, and packages across a range of courses. We also work closely with veterans to support them throughout their training and help them secure great jobs.
“We will continue to develop the level of support we can provide to those individuals in the coming months and years.’’
