Complete Training Solutions (CTS) welcomed Cllr David Baines, Leader of St. Helens Council and LEP Cabinet Member for Environmental Services; Cllr Gillian Wood, Deputy Portfolio Holder: Low Carbon and Renewable Energy; and Mark Knowles, Head of Low Carbon at Liverpool City Region LEP to its training facility in Liverpool to discuss renewable energy projects.
CTS, part of a Liverpool-based group of training and education specialists, The Progress Group, is one of the UK’s leading Health and Safety Training providers serving the renewable energy and construction industries.
The visitors met with Managing Director Ian Green and Head of Renewables Danielle Kershaw to discuss projects such as the Green Energy Skills Bootcamp as part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs initiative. The Skills Bootcamp enables eligible learners across Liverpool City Region access to the technical training required to secure employment within the renewable energy sector.
Speaking of the visit, Danielle Kershaw said: “It was a pleasure to welcome such knowledgeable and passionate visitors to CTS.
