If you’re looking to start or develop your career in the renewable and wind energy industry and gain a Global Wind Organisation accreditation, then look no further! The GWO Working at Height & Manual Handling Combined course provides each participant with awareness through theoretical and practical training. It is a requirement that offshore workers hold a valid, in date Working at Height & Rescue certificate. This certificate can be refreshed every 2 years by completing the Working at Height Refresher course.

This GWO Working at Heights & Manual Handling training course covers the techniques and procedures which may need to be carried out in emergency situations when working at height when either alone or working as part of a team.
The training deals with all aspects involved when working at height on wind farm projects, and ensures learners are taught the importance of the following procedure and regulations whilst working in hazardous environments.
Our center is fully equipped with real-world training environments designed to make sure you are comfortable carrying out emergency procedures whilst working from height. Additionally, you can also book your Offshore Medical tests and checks with us! Click here to add on your medical while you are training at our facilities!

Delegates will complete a practical and written multiple choice assessment as part of the GWO Working at Height & Rescue course.

You should complete the rest of your GWO basic safety training:

  • GWO Manual Handling
  • GWO Basic Fire Awareness
  • GWO Sea Survival

If you want a career in offshore rope access, then you should complete your IRATA Rope Access certificate.

Delegates will receive their Working at Height & Rescue certificate upon successful completion of a course.
