RelyOn Nutec (RelyOn) is creating a global electrical training capability to service the renewable generation, oil and gas, and transmission, distribution industries. Our goal is to support our existing and new clients in quality training that develops and maintains essential high voltage and low voltage electrical skills and safe operating procedures.

We seek to appoint a Head of Electrical Services (UK) to drive the introduction of our electrical training capability across RelyOn Nutec UK’s significant UK and global client base.
The successful candidate will lead the UK contribution to the global implementation of the RelyOn electrical training service capability.

In this role, you will be part of a global team, contributing to the technical and industry related requirements of our electrical training products to meet the needs of our key clients and industry.
You will contribute to technical briefs to internal stakeholders, consult with clients, and collaborate with our multi-country electrical Subject Matter Experts in the design and development of curriculum content, face-to-face delivery, and remote and online delivery.

You will also oversee the selection and onboarding of new electrical trainers, and the installation of our electrical equipment at new and existing facilities, in accordance with our global procedures.
This role requires you to ensure our electrical training meets local regulatory and industry compliance.
You will identify business opportunities, contribute to marketing plans, liaise with industry standards bodies, gain clients, increase revenue, and improve training delivery efficiency.

The role requires the successful candidate to:
• Lead the development of electrical training capability for the RelyOn Nutec (UK) client base.
• Provide expert technical and industry-related input into the development of training services.
• Contribute to RelyOn’s global electrical services strategy as part of a central committee.
• Collaborate with Global Electrical Services team on the development and implementation of electrical projects.
• Oversee the selection and onboarding of new electrical trainers in accordance with RelyOn global electrical services
standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts on curriculum content design, compliance, and delivery
methods.
• Ensure regulatory and industry compliance in training delivery.
• Analyse markets for training services, recommending strategic and operational improvements.
• Review and improve processes to support effective electrical training services.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to build the skill sets and capability of the RelyOn Nutec UK electrical training team.
• Develop detailed scopes of work based on client briefings.
• Participate in training programs to gain a comprehensive understanding of services and client requirements.

The Person
To be eligible for this position you must have:
• Solid experience in the electrical supply industry.
• Experience in high voltage electrical systems.
• Excellent client engagement and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of the UK electrical supply industry.
• Well-developed commercial acumen.
• Effective management of resources and budgets against programming constraints.
• Excellent business and report writing skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in consulting, including scoping and pricing projects.
• Experience within a quality-accredited organization.
• Right to live and work in UK (no visa sponsorship or relocation funding provided).
Desirable:
• Trade, engineering or related technical degree, or relevant industry experience.
• Acted as an Authorised Person (or equivalent) responsible for high voltage isolation, earthing, and permits to work.
• Project Management qualification and experience.
• Training qualifications at vocational or degree levels and relevant training industry experience.
• Classroom and online curriculum development and/or training experience.
• Training workshop/laboratory operation and maintenance experience.
