Leading Health and Safety Training provider, Complete Training Solutions (CTS) have been doing their part to support the local Liverpool community through food donations given to The Florrie Centre.

The training provider’s staff, delegates and partners banded together to collect vital food donations during these unprecedented times. The staff at CTS worked collectively to ensure The Florrie Centre were provided with food donations. More importantly, this provided much-needed respite for the most underprivileged in the community.

A charity at the heart of Liverpool

The Florrie Centre is a charity at the heart of Liverpool, their comprehensive social centre based in South Liverpool offers a wealth of support and activities for the local community. For instance, from their youth hub to food support, The Florrie Centre is one of Liverpool’s much-loved gems. This is why they were such an obvious choice for CTS to support.

After weeks of collecting food donations, CTS CEO, John Dagger was thrilled to take the supplies to The Florrie, he said;

‘’The Florrie is a versatile community centre at the heart of the Liverpool community. They offer activities, food support, and several educational and training classes to name a few. The work they do is key to supporting and fostering community relationships.’’

He continued;

‘’During these unprecedented times, we thought it important to offer our support to The Florrie. We want to do our part in helping combat hunger in the local community. Being a Liverpool based organisation this is something we hold close to our hearts. It was our pleasure to help support The Florrie.’’

This isn’t the first time the team at CTS have turned their efforts to charitable work, their nominated charity at the moment is   The Whitechapel Centre, who they have supported through various fundraising events. The team had planned to do a Skydive this year to raise funds for The Whitechapel Centre. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, this has been postponed. The CTS Team still hope to take part in such an event in the future. This event will help in further their fundraising efforts for the local charity.
