LIVERPOOL, UK — Leading Health and Safety Training provider, Complete Training Solutions recently secured a pass following their annual Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) audit.
The CITB training audit ensures training providers are effectively delivering training that meets its standards. The audit also emphasizes quality assurance and assesses training providers on their ability to deliver high-quality training that meets the needs of the individual and the construction industry.
The final audit report highlighted that CTS has significant processes in place to ensure delegates’ needs are met. This included an initial assessment which is accompanied by an assessment carried out by the Trainer to determine the delegate’s knowledge level.
The report said: “The provider (CTS) has an initial assessment policy in place which ensures that all delegates are questioned before booking a course to ensure they meet course criteria.
“The Trainer also carries out an initial assessment by means of discussion with all delegates at the start of the course to ascertain their knowledge level. There is a process in place to cover the requirements for any special considerations or reasonable adjustments.”
The audit went on to praise the training provider for delivering training that met the standards and requirements outlined by the CITB. It said: “From today’s audit, the training provider (CTS) has demonstrated that its delivery of site safety plus courses meet the scheme rules and quality assurance requirements.”
CTS’s state-of-the-art training facility is situated on Brunswick Dock, near Liverpool City Centre. Delegates benefit from the world-class facilities and are exposed to real-world scenarios that enhance their training experience. The training provider currently offers CITB Health and Safety Awareness, CSCS Card Tests, Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), and Site Supervisor Safety Training (SSSTS).
In 2021, CTS delivered 62 courses, including Health and Safety Awareness leading to a CSCS Card Test, SSSTS and SMSTS to 415 delegates. They also facilitated 582 CITB tests, with an approximate pass rate of 87%.
