Complete Training Solutions Covid-19 update

With the evolving situation regarding COVID- 19, and advice from Public Health England, we wanted to update and offer some reassurance with regards to the steps that we are taking.

How will this affect our delivery?

Your training will not be affected at this time, we ask that you still attend until told otherwise.

Taking in to consideration the Government guidelines we continue to urge you to take extra care and follow health advice regarding washing hands regularly and acting swiftly if you, or someone you come into contact with exhibits any signs of this virus. We are continuing to monitor Government advice and will update you further should this advice change.

You can read Government advice about COVID – 19 and training & education settings here.

What should you do if you show any symptoms before attending your course?

Following on from Government advice you should stay at home if you exhibit any of the following symptoms:

  • A high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
  • A new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly

How long should I stay at home if I have symptoms?

  • If you have symptoms, stay at home for 7 days
  • If you live with other people, they should stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person got symptoms

If you fall into the vulnerable categories as outlined by the Government, we ask that you follow guidance with regards to limiting social contact and contact your tutor, who will arrange for your training to take place at a later stage. These include:

  • Anyone over the age of 70
  • Pregnant women
  • Those with an underlying health issue, especially any respiratory or heart issues.

What should you do if you show any symptoms during your course?

If you feel unwell during your course, please:

  • Let a member of staff/Instructor know, we will ask you to return home and follow Government advice regarding self-isolation
  • We will re-schedule the remainder of your training for a date that suits you
  • We will ensure all areas are sanitized, and other attendees informed

What happens if you can’t attend?

If you are unable to attend your training due to exhibiting signs of COVID – 19, please contact us and we will happily arrange for your training to be rescheduled.

What do GWO advise?

Currently, GWO have extended the period of certificate expiry dates, and set out other recommendations to help those working in the industry. You can review their guidance here.

Are meetings with other members of staff still going ahead?

Yes meetings are going ahead but where possible we are advising clients to conduct telephone or Skype meetings. We will also not be shaking hands if meeting face-to-face.

What are CTS doing?

Here at CTS, we take the health of our delegates and staff seriously, so to help the situation we have:

  • Installed more hand sanitizer dispensers around our training facilities
  • Limiting of the number of individuals congregating during breaks and lunch by setting defined lunch times for each cohort. Where possible, lunch will be taken away from the main canteen facility and we have removed all seating in the canteen to increase hygiene.
  • Delegates will also be shown directly to their training classrooms upon signing in at reception to reduce larger congregations

More information can be found here. If you have any questions, please call 0151 541 8895 or email info@completetrainingsolutions.co.uk.

Thank you for your continued commitment to CTS, and we urge you to look after yourself and your health. We will continue to update you as the situation develops.
