Complete Training Solution’s in-house Working at Height course is designed for organisations without specific awarding organisation compliance requirements, with personnel working at height and with Health and Safety accountabilities.. This course will provide sufficient theory and practical training to ensure employees can work safely at height as an individual and part of a group and that they give appropriate regard to their own Health and Safety.

Upon completion of training, delegates will be able to demonstrate safe and competent work techniques, will be confident in their knowledge base and realise their limitations within their working environment.

Our CTS Working at Height Training is applicable for all industries with personnel working at height and with Health and Safety accountabilities, however it is particularly useful for construction, civil engineering, maritime and maintenance industries.

UK Fall from Height Statistics

The latest Workplace Fatal Injuries in Great Britain Report, published 6th July by the Health and Safety Executive explains that the most common cause of fatal accidents to workers in 2021/22 continues to be falls from height.

The Report, published by the HSE demonstrates that there is still a way to go in reducing the number of fatal accidents to workers in the UK. 123 people were killed in work-related accidents in 2021/22. 29 of those deaths were caused by falls from height, and 18 were caused by a strike from a moving, flying or falling object. Falls from height have been the most common cause of fatal accidents in Great Britain since 2017, which shows that there is more to be done to change attitudes and Health and Safety culture in workplaces to prevent such fatalities.
