Low Risk Confined Space

Low Risk Confined Space training courses at level 2 are suitable if you are new to the industry and you are looking to develop your skills. A low risk confined space can be defined as a low, shallow entry space with adequate natural or mechanical ventilation. Access is typically unobstructed and there is little risk of flooding.

This training course covers what you need to know to work safely in low risk confined spaces including how to enter and work safely, how to recognise an emergency has occurred and then how to deal with it. It also includes updated National Occupational Standards and Water UK National Classifications (NC’s).

A low risk confined space is one where there is adequate natural or mechanical ventilation, where access appears simple and unobstructed, and where there is no likely risk of flooding. Examples of low risk confined spaces include valve chambers and stairwells.
