FAQ's

Q) Typically what times do the courses start?

A) All of our courses begin at 9am with the IRATA courses being the exception, these begin at 8am. We usually advise you to arrive 15 minutes early on day 1 of the course for registration purposes. The fire awareness courses begin at 1pm.

 

Q) Do I need to bring anything with me on the first day?

A) This is entirely dependent on the course you are attending but full information will be provided on your joining instructions. If anything is unclear, feel free to contact a member of our staff prior to arrival.

 

Q) What if I am late on the first day, what should I do?

A) That is fine, we understand traffic at peak times can be busy and that other problems arise.  Just call our office on 0151 708 9785 and speak to a member of our staff. We can advise you what to do next and also inform the course tutor.

 

Q) Are there any discounts available?

A) The short answer is yes. We periodically offer seasonal discounts on courses but we also offer discounts for group bookings and multiple course bookings. Call one of our team to find out more.

 

Q) How long will my qualification last for?

A) This is entirely dependent on the qualification you undertake but the instructors will advise of the applicable expiry timeframes, these will also be printed on your certificates. More information can be found in the PDF download area for each course.

 

Q) Will I receive my certificates the same day or will I have to wait?

A) For any qualification that we administer, certificates will be issued on successful completion of the course. For the certificates that come directly from the awarding bodies, these can take up to 6 weeks to be sent out.

 

Q) What jobs would I be able to secure after I have received my qualifications?

A) This depends entirely on the industry you are currently in or about to enter and the additional qualifications you already have. We run a lot of training qualifications that are site enablers, by this we mean that the qualifications enable you to work safely on a site but holding additional technical qualifications will definitely help you.

 

Q) Do you provide accommodation or can you recommend any close by?

A) At present we do not offer accommodation unless this is booked as part of a corporate package. We do, however, have some great deals with local hotels that we can pass on. More information can be found in the ‘about us’ section.

 

Q) How do I find out how long your courses are and if there are any spaces left?

A) Under our course bookings page and course schedule you will be able to view all scheduled course dates with current availability. If you need clarification then it’s probably best to call a member of our team.

 

Q) What do I do if I cannot find the information I need on your site?

A) Our site is full of information and includes testimonials of those that have gone before you. If you cannot find exactly what you are looking for then you can either call or email us or even send us a message through social media and we will answer as quickly as possible.

 

Q) Are you able to train offsite and during evenings & weekends?
